On Friday we attended the Onkaparinga Mayors Christmas Event, held in the Christies Beach surf club. The night was excellent, from the catoring to the photographer.
Seeing so many local businesses in the same room was truly an eye opening experience. Residents and business owners are passionate about the southern suburbs of Adelaide, which is good to see.
Many people were discussing how much the Onkaparinga council has expanded over the years, while others were foreseeing even more growth. This was definitely the tone of the evening and was enforced by a very powerful speech by the Mayor of Onkaparinga.
