Digg Alerter Version 1.2
Published by Adam Lyttle on August 6, 2007

Comments
Just a quick note to let everyone know that a new version of Digg Alerter is now available for download. The new version helps to capture buried data.

Download Digg Alerter (1,479kb)

The new version periodically checks the Digg Spy application on the Digg website to capture bury data. Unfortunately there is a relatively small window to check this data, so the more people using the new version of Digg Alerter, the more data captured.

This software has been scanned for viruses and is guaranteed not to contain any spyware or malicious software. If you have any concerns about any of the software or downloads available from the Adamant Solutions website please contact us.

Your product has been highly recommended. Do you have it available for Mac as well?

Adam Lyttle commented on October 7, 2007

Hello Anja, sorry to say there is no Mac version available.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does this software actually do? As a contributor to digg I guess I should be aware of such programmes! Thx

embee commented on February 27, 2008

Hey.. Great app... Any chance it will be available for Linux OS's soon ?

embee commented on February 27, 2008

Hey.. again :$.. One comment.. When sorting the stories according to the date of submission, the app just sorts them by numbers, not taking into consideration the hours / minutes.. Thought I'd let you know.. Great work again!

Adam Lyttle commented on March 1, 2008

Mr Öì±¾ÐË , unfortunately a Mac version has not been developed (nor is there plans for a mac version). However people have had success with Parallels on the Mac. Give that a shot and let me know how it goes.

Has this been tested on Vista SP1? I loaded it last night and while i get the options screen on first start and the icon in the systeay, I cannot get the window to come up from the systray. Any idea why? I've used this on non-SP1 Vista with success.....thanks!

Robert commented on March 22, 2008

embee, I was wondering the exact same thing

Ron Carlson commented on April 2, 2008

Yes, a Mac version please!

Dave commented on April 8, 2008

Though not optimal I run it through Parallels on my Mac and it works great. A mac version wouldd be nice but I do like the product. Thanks!

Hello first of all I wanna say thank you very much for programming this tool it makes a lot of things easier. But it could be better, so I think i will give you some ideas of mine which I need to get more power out of it that means faster reacting to changes. 1. I am following embee that the sorting failled a little bit. We need it that it sorts the time right 23 minutes must before 1h and not behind 23 h must before 106 hours lol! ;D 2. What I would lik tio use is the function to get a direct link to a submission in the box of diggalerter, this would be so smart, because of I can open the url then directly. 3. For comments in the box below I have two ideas that it can work better. a. only the comments are shown not the replies 2. the possibility to open the comment (link) directly out of the box were so wonderful. 3. Need more than 100 shown submissions. Crazy I know but please. ;D Please inform me if you interested in updating this tool or not. I make a lot of perfomance for your tool because of I think that it is the tool which every digger needs! Greetinx Ste!
