40Twitter: Post updates every 40 minutes
Published by Adam Lyttle on January 10, 2008

After writing Twitter for Business: The Definitive Guide I realised there was no software that could popup every so often and prompt me to update Twitter. So, I set out and made made it. The Twitter API is surprisingly easy to work with.

If this proves successful we plan on writing more software (And websites) to support future articles on the site. It seems like a nice way to tie in our services with the topics that we publish.

Introducing 40Twitter

The software runs in the background and periodically reminds you to update your status on Twitter. With the click of a button you can update your status directly from within 40Twitter. You can even choose how often 40Twitter reminds you.
  • Periodically prompts to update your status on Twitter
  • Customize how often 40Twitter prompts you
  • Fits nicely in the System Tray
  • Starts with Windows (optional)
  • Can be used with any Twitter account
  • Best of all, it's free

40Twitter is a free software application designed and developed by Adamant Solutions. Free to download, free from viruses, free from spyware, free from adware and free from anything else malicious.

It is worth noting that this product is not endorsed or supported by the founders and developers of Twitter. Adamant Solutions is not associated in any way with the development, design or the running of the Twitter service. If there is any confusion please contact us.

I do suggest you to develop portable version of 40Twitter. So, the none IT savvy like me, can use the freeware without installation accordingly. Anyway, thanks for your time & effort. Bubbyee..:)

The coolest thing about Twitter is the many ways to use it. I find I use it more just because I can. Thanks for adding one more interface that's now a MUST HAVE on my system

I've downloaded this. Sounds really cool to have one on my system. :)

Any way to actually uninstall this thing? It's like virus. I can't get rid of it.

Nice little proggy. I would like to see a feature of setting a http-proxy-server in future versions. Have a nice day.
